The pics show how much brickwork was completed before the storms arrived.The bricks are from the Austral Governor series of sandstocks and the colour is King.We went for natural mortar colour with a raked finish.Hoping bricks will all be laid by tomorrow afternoon.
Windows and external doors have been fitted last week.Internal plumbing and outside taps have also been installed.There is also a pic of my youngest son feeding some of the locals.
This picture from yesterday shows how much work can be done by four blokes in six hours.The roof frame might be finished today,so more pics later.
Allworth have finally raised the framework even though we had some rain today.Here are three pictures showing the current progress ,there should be a lot done tomorrow as the forecast is looking good.
The roof and all remaining timber framework have now been delivered.As the picture shows the front of the block is becoming extremely crowded .The current weather forecast is for rain and plenty of it but we are hoping for some framework to be completed next week.
The timber frame has been delivered but no roof truss as yet.We need some good weather so work can start again.
Drainage plumbing has been inspected and laid to rest.There has been a lot of heavy rain which will settle the soil nicely.Next stage will be the framework when the weather clears.
