Tanks Very Much.

As you can see in the pics we have had the 4,500 ltr plastic water tank delivered and placed on the slab.We chose a colour that in theory will blend in with the house.Judging by the amount of rain that falls in this area the tank should always be full. The kitchen cabinets, benchtop and sink have also been delivered and will most likely be installed tomorrow.

Power Arrangers.

We now have a power pole and a meter box installed. The third pic shows the solar collector looking inconspicuous on the roof,in fact I didn't know it was there until I tripped over the installation manual. We have been told we might be able to move in around the 22/4/08 if there are no problems.Fingers crossed.

Turbo Gyprock

Four Asian guys turned up and in no time at all had all the walls and ceiling sheets installed.I don't think they know what a lunch break is.Very impressed with the progress we are witnessing at the moment.

KILLER BATS.

A couple of guys turned up with some Bradford Batts for the external walls and ceiling today. They installed R 3.5 batts in the ceiling and R 1.5 batts in the walls, that should kill the temperature extremes nicely.

Working Undercover.

Action aplenty at the moment with the roof and eaves in the last stages of completion.I think we made a great choice with the roof tile pattern and colour. One pic shows the gyprock and cornice stacked in the garage ready for a Saturday installation.I hope they enjoy weekend work more than I do.All of the electrical wiring has been done by Allworth but my cousin Glen will be down today to wire up the home theater and games room.
